Bakeracres is a 45 acre farm that raises hay, oats and pumkins. We also raise Belgian draft horses, that we use for field work and logging. The camp site is at the back of the farm in a wooded area near a pond. Great area to go biking with many miles of quiet roads in our area. Also we are about 4 miles from the Rock river, which is great for canoeing/kayaking. We are about 5 miles outside of Watertown , which has plenty of shopping, restaurants, and fun drinking establishments. We are less than an hour from Milwaukee, Madison, or Fon du Lac.Campsite is located on the edge of a woods next to a pond. It is at the back of the 45 acres, providing privacy, and plenty of wildlife. Deer come to the pond to drink daily, along with Sandhill cranes, and turkeys. FREE FIREWOOD INCLUDED! A private field drive will get your vehicle right to campsite. If you are towing a pop-up type trailer, 4x4 is recommended.

This property was absolutely wonderful! Very peaceful and private with wonderful views. The pond and beach are well taken care of. The cedar built outhouse is a much appreciated amenity! From the welcome flowers on the table, to the solar lit mason jars for table and outhouse...very welcoming and warm place to visit! Will definitely be back!

My happy new place!

This was the perfect getaway for a single mom of 1 like me. The hosts were very warm and extremely helpful even with putting up a tent! Having them be so attentive really made us feel safe. The on site outhouse was extremely clean and bug free! We're dying to return. Oh and BTW! Our puppies loved it too!!!

Such a great site! And Duncan was a great person to deal with. We didn’t stay long, just a quick overnight, but it was very clean, bathroom was spectacularly built, and the site and pond were just perfect. We will be back.
